Cedar City Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business (WIB) invites women to apply for this year’s WIB Scholarship . 

We will be awarding five (5) $500.00 scholarships. Scholarship awards are available for the 2012 school year.  Scholarships may be used toward tuition, fees, and/or books.

• Scholarships will be awarded to a female senior currently attending an Iron County high school who plans to attend an Iron County accredited university or college.

• Non traditional scholarships will also  be awarded to a woman entering or re-entering an Iron County university or college after at least a five-year break in her education. 

***Note:  Southwest Applied Technology College (SWATC) will match the scholarship funds with an additional $500 for any scholarship recipient choosing to attend SWATC. 

Eligibility

Applicants must be women who plan to attend an accredited Iron County university or college for the 2012 school year to prepare to enter the workforce or further their career.  Applicants must be planning to attend on at least a half-time basis (minimum six credit hours).  Applicants may be either current high school seniors or women entering or re-entering a university or college after at least a five-year break in their education.
