Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the “Launch Your World Wrapped in Pink” event.

The event will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Iron Mine Race Park in Cedar City. There is a $20 gate fee donation, and proceeds will go towards local women battling breast cancer (specifically women without insurance).

If you know of a woman in Cedar City who is battling breast cancer and doesn’t have insurance, please contact Darci Hansen (Elanwoman@aol.com) as soon as possible. Darci would like to include a Cedar City woman as one of the benefactors of this event.

The first 100 in the gate will receive an autographed copy of the book “My Friends Have Cancer What Can I Do?” by Barb Pridie. Activities include a walk-a-thon and ATV lessons taught by women quad racers.
